Welcome

A warm welcome to our latest copy of Residence Magazine showcasing some of the wonderful homes we have for sale and to let and some that have recently sold or let. 

The front cover is a photograph of the totem pole in Virginia Water that I took back in June 2007 to go on the cover of our magazine. The totem pole was gifted to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by the government of British Columbia to mark the Centenary of that province in 1958. It has now come to the end of its life and is due to be laid to rest to continue to deteriorate and decay as is the custom sometime this year. Its sister in Vancouver has already been laid to rest in 2018. The image to the left was taken in May 2024. 

Back in the property market at Barton Wyatt, our team continues to thrive putting buyers and sellers together, and landlords and tenants alike. The market in 2023 was challenging with continually increasing interest rates and this is continued into 2024, but with the expertise and experience in our team, we continue to produce excellent results for our clients, quite often off market.
